Steve: The Overworld

I've never watched the Minecraft movie ft. Jack Black as Steve. I don't know if the movie was a success or not: maybe the story is good, though I won't know until I watch it, but I do think that the character designs are a bit weird... so, I've decided to put together this piece. It's not much, but I want to know what you guys think. Do you think that my Steve looks better than the Jack Black Steve? Do you think that the Minecraft movie should have looked something more like this?
